Sammy is an internationally shown muralist, mosaic artist, and teaches artist based in Philadelphia. Through teaching mosaic classes, she is able to educate participants on the transformative powers of finding healing in the fragments. Sammy is passionate about expression through a variety of mediums, especially murals, mosaics, and collage.
For Adults 18 years and older. All abilities welcome. No experience needed.

You will make clay tiles to break into pieces for your design, exploring texture, color, and the art of nerikomi (layering colored clay)!
Materials, process, and design options will be discussed.
Participants will create their own unique mosaic piece of art during this 4-week class, all starting with a ball of clay.
